Very attractive either way, and I almost always will side with a good #1 RB over a QB, but Manning is durable and reliable and Gore sometimes has bad games. Last season, Gore finished a game with less than 50 yds rushing 5 times, and only had 5 games with over 100 yds rushing, and he missed 2 games. Manning had 4,500 yds and 33 TD's last season, and had 9 games of more than 300 passing yds. out of the 14 games he played (he played in all 16 but was pulled in weeks 16 and 17 to rest him for the playoffs). Manning has higher value here and is much more reliable and consistent. Keep Peyton.

Yes, ownership refused to put a good team around him, instead holding on to the mediocre players they have. If I were the owner, I would have pulled as many strings as I could to get him to stay. An old, washed up Shaq isn't good enough.

Agreed. They screwed that up. Boozer didn't help by leaving last minute for the Jazz. Not sure if that was ownerships fault or Boozer just making that decision on his own. If he goes to cleveland I think they may of beat the lakers and celtics and orlando.
