2027 NFL Draft

The 2027 NFL Draft has not happened yet. What exists so far is the board: 524 ranked prospects, updated as the class develops through the season and into the spring.

What we have, and what we don't

Being straight about this matters more than looking comprehensive. For 2027 we currently publish a consensus prospect board and position rankings derived from it. That is real, useful, and enough to draft against.

What we do not yet have, and will not pretend to: results, because the draft has not been held. Team-by-team classes, for the same reason. Beat writer reporting, which does not meaningfully begin until the pre-draft cycle. Scouting profiles, which follow the combine. Each of those appears here when it exists and not before.

Compensatory picks are not included at all; those are awarded after the league meetings in March and will shift every round boundary from the third round on.

The shape of the class

Depth at a position is not the same as quality at the top of it, and early-season boards are more volatile than they look. Treat this as a starting map rather than a finished ranking. The position pages break each group out in full.

Drafting the 2027 class now

The simulator runs on this board today. Because there are no results to check yourself against, a 2027 mock is a projection exercise rather than a scored one: you are drafting against the consensus board and the projected order, both of which will move. That is the point of running it early. We do not show a score for a class that has not been drafted, because a number computed against a projected order looks authoritative and measures nothing.

Two things about the inputs, stated plainly rather than left for you to discover. Projected order. The 2027 draft order is set by the 2026 regular season and is not known until January. Team needs were researched for this class from current rosters. They predate free agency and will be revised after March 2027.
